Connect Books chooses Prader-Willi Syndrome Association UK for £1000 donation

Thursday 28th July 2016

A team of employees from Norwich donated £1000 after winning a Geocache activity at a recent conference event.

The conference took place at the new Center Parcs Woburn Forest in Bedfordshire and delegates were invited to take part in a team building exercise called Geocaching. The first team to complete the challenge was awarded £1000 for a charity of their choice.

Simply put Geocaching is orienteering with a computer device and despite the torrential downpours, the team building exercise was thoroughly enjoyed!

Chris Good was a member of the winning team: “Whilst a bit of fun, the fact that this was a team effort made it every bit more enjoyable. We chose PWSA UK as my two-year son suffers with the condition and I know the charity donation will go a long way in helping to make a difference to a child’s life.”

PWSA UK has been operating for over 30 years and is the only organisation in the UK that is dedicated solely to supporting people with the condition.
