Connect Education & Care is shortlisted for prestigious award

The Consortium has been short-listed for the Marketing Campaign of the Year Award at this year’s Education Resource Awards

The nomination is for the Company's Your Partner in the Classroom campaign which, as Trading Director John Kershaw explains, is about recognising the need to support and work with teachers.

"Over the past few years the education landscape has changed, says John. The reduction in the size of Local Authorities and the inevitable reduction in education advisors has led to a vacuum in advice, just when teachers need it the most. When the new National Curriculum was published, teachers needed someone to turn to – and that’s when the partnership between The Consortium, Scholastic and Smart Kids was born.

"The partnership with Scholastic was launched in The Consortium’s 2015 catalogue and featured key advice on the changing curriculum with supporting curricular resources from both Scholastic and The Consortium. Organised by Brilliant Marketing Solutions and The British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA), The Education Resources Awards (ERA) are now in their 18th successful year and are firmly established as the premier annual event to celebrate outstanding success for the suppliers and teaching professionals of the education sector throughout the UK.

Winners will be announced at a special gala event on 18 March 2016, at the prestigious National Motorcycle Museum.  Fingers crossed for more good news soon!
